I am entering the world of violin making and happened to stumble on you YouTube channel.
Your varnishing seems to be almost effortless... I have lots to learn.
I am working through Edgar Russ' Violin Making Academy ... he showed us how he makes his... but It alot to chew at once and he said we could use a good varnish company... but left it up to us to find that.
I hope to be able to order my varnish soon in the foreseeable future.... and I like the look of yours.
What is some advice you would give a student luthier?
